The film also made its North American debut at the Palm Springs Short Film Festival and the LA Shorts Fest in Los Angeles, and the TV pilot she wrote for a series based on the film was selected by the NY Stage and Filmmakers Workshop for the Powerhouse Season at Vassar College.  The workshop, an invitation only event, took place on the Vassar campus where professional actors performed table reads for nine hand selected writers and mentors like Geoffrey Gilmore, former head of the Sundance Film Festival, and current head of the Tribeca Film Festival, director, Thomas Carter, and actress, Jennifer Westfeldt, provided insight on each project to help bring writers closer to their goal of a career in film or television.
